“Our culture distinguishes Baird from other firms.
We treat people with respect and kindness.”

Meg joined Baird in 2009 after spending ten years of her career at another wealth management firm. When making the decision to come to Baird, she was especially attracted to our Midwestern headquarters in Wisconsin, our privately held status and our positive culture that matched well with her clients’ values. Meg feels that the culture at Baird is a genuine differentiator. Throughout her time, Meg was encouraged by leadership to continue to grow professionally and pursue education initiatives, ultimately earning her CFP® and CPWA® designations.

“Our leaders see us as individuals, listen to our concerns and take effective action. If I call our head of Financial Planning for a complex tax question, he picks up the phone. I am confident that my business and team will continue to grow and thrive at Baird.”

Laura has worked in financial services for 25 years and has personal experience in the challenges that are faced by women in the industry. After coming to Baird in 2014, she realized how Baird recognizes and addresses those challenges, specifically through creating resource groups for those with common backgrounds to share their obstacles and best practices for overcoming them. One example of this is the Diversity Council, which Laura served time as a member in, along with the Baird Women’s Advisor Group and various associate resource groups within the firm. Laura feels proud to work with a company that genuinely cares about workplace diversity and culture.

Along with feeling pride for the way Baird approaches inclusion and diversity, Laura feels our firm has strong and compassionate leadership. She’s watched her own Regional Director become the President of Private Wealth Management and is thankful to have had his support throughout her own career. She feels Baird’s leadership team, along with her co-workers, exemplify the Baird culture of integrity, kindness and collaboration. Laura is happily continuing to grow her successful practice with Baird.

Vice President | Financial Advisor
Joined Baird in 1994
“I would not have the career I do today if it weren’t
for the excellent support and encouragement I have
received along the way”

Sandy is a prime example of how career growth is supported and encouraged among Baird associates. After coming to Baird in 1994 as a Registered Sales Assistant, Sandy remained in her role for ten years before deciding to become a Financial Advisor. Through her hard work and determination, coupled with the support of her partner and Baird, she was then able to successfully obtain her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. She attributes much of her professional development to her peers and firm. Sandy continues to thrive as a proud employee-owner, Vice President and Financial Advisor within the firm.
